On the afternoon of September 20, 2018, the demonstration class for Party members jointly organized by the General Party Branch and the Teaching Office of our school conducted the first teaching demonstration。The first demonstration class for Party members in this semester was taught by Yang Xu, a geography teacher。In the eighth class, Ms. Yang Xu gave a lecture in the multi-function hall, and the teachers of the whole school attended the lecture。After class, each teaching and research group leader organizes the teachers to discuss and exchange this lesson。

Mr. Yang Xu taught a geography class entitled "Topography and Relief of China (2)"。Through the introduction of the short film of the animated film "Up", Ms. Yang led the students to start a new "adventure". She integrated the course content into the film situation, and led the students to explore and solve problems step by step。At the same time, the haze problem in China and the recent typhoon Mangkhut in southern China were introduced into the class, which narrowed the distance between the class and students, and made students remember the changing laws of China's terrain through a relaxed atmosphere。Ms. Yang's clever setting of links and precise setting of questions led students to think deeply and broadened their geographical vision。

After the lecture, the teachers of each teaching and research group had a full discussion on this lesson, analyzed and evaluated from many angles and gave suggestions。Each group gave a high evaluation to the context design of the course, and thought that the film materials introduced into the course were very well applied, which improved the overall participation of students.In addition, Ms. Yang has a clear design idea, guides the students deeply, naturally runs the activities through the whole time, and appropriately handles the classroom generation problems。At the same time, the teachers also put forward pertinent suggestions, such as the comments on students' answers should be more timely and rich。

The Party member demonstration class activity not only provides the party member teachers with a platform to practice the teaching concept and show the teaching style, but also leads the teaching of all teachers, and creates an opportunity for the school teachers to observe and learn from each other, exchange discussions, make progress together, and grow together!
